Based on my experience I would not count on West Ny to take responsibility for damage caused by it. My instance involved the apparent destruction of my air conditioner. An independent report confirmed that WNY had not bothered to protect it, that it was covered with debris, and that it did not function. Images of the interior of the a/c confirmed the presence of the debris. Despite this, WNY has refused to make good on the minor costs to replace the a/c, obliging me to initiate a lawsuit.
