EDIT: I CONTACTED THE CONSUMER LIAISON PRIOR TO THIS POST ALREADY. The liaison assured me that my appointment has been placed to Weds and still I get a message to tell me my appointment is on Tuesday. Don't bother with this hospital I was referred here for my pregnancy. I filled in the form with ALL my details for them to communicate with me properly. Worst experience I have ever had in a QLD hospital. 14hrs I waited to see a doctor. Went in just before midnight and still waiting to be seen by a medical doctor 2pm the following day!! Went up to reception twice, first time spoke to a triage nurse who replied “i don’t know when a doctor can see you (5hrs had passed at this point.) Then went up the second time saw the receptionist/admin who said I could go home I told her no Im unable to leave as I was told I couldn’t. I needed access to my recent hospital notes as soon as possible and the during the process I was always treated exceptionally well by all the staff involved. The service was perfect and done in a way which showed compassion, understanding and a strong willingness to help. Kelly and Eileen gave it their best and I thank and appreciate their efforts which resulted in helping me to deal with my situation.
As a whole the hospital is a joke currently, I was rushed to emergency after collapsing to the ground feeling nauseas and dizzy with a history of ulcers and diverticulitis, the ambulance crew did more then what the hospital did in a whole I was given pantoprazole which i already take , a nurse with short blonde hair and purple or pink streak through it had been very sarcastic and rude towards me while I was then abused by a paramedic on the ramp after he agreed he would wait till I got off the phone they then chased me out t... read more
I had a negative experience while trying to access care through the Ripley Satellite Hospital which is run by West Moreton Health. I contacted the West Moreton Health Facebook page with my feedback which I felt was quickly dismissed. Soon after West Moreton Health posted a GLOWING review full of back patting, high fiving praise about how wonderful the Ripley Satellite Hospital is on their Facebook page (which is were I made contact).
