I recently terminated services with Sarah Gordon, LPC. She was the first therapist I ever had who properly diagnosed me and was the bridge to me finishing grad school, becoming employed and helped me get additional necessary services. She's very authentic and has a great sense of humor. As no therapist can be well versed in everything, I would not recommend going to her for processing issues related to gender dysphoria. I have not written reviews for any psychological services throughout my history, but my experience with the billing staff compelled me to write about the difficulties experienced by a Meridian Medicaid beneficiary. Policy-wise, in-network providers are contractually obligated to honor authorizations for treatment (even if it is only a partial authorization). NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I’ve been seen at the grand haven location and have had issues with them NEVER answering the phone or getting back to me after leaving multiple voicemails for med refills. I switched to the holland location with high hopes and I’ve been calling and leaving voicemails for a whole week with NOTHING. They preach mental health, but them never being available is horrible for it since I have to worry if I can even get my meds refilled.
