They Have EVERYTHING for Small Boats My friend who lives on a sailboat in Long Beach told me about this place. It's like a Wal-Mart for boaters. Whether you have a catamaran or a cabin cruiser, they have EVERYTHING you could use for your boat. I have bought rigging for my Hobie Cat, electrical parts for my cuddy cabin, and cool deck shoes. Not bad for catalog orders This West Marine is okay for catalog orders. Their coustomer service is satisfactory. If you have a bigger catalog order I would recomend another West Marine.
great stuff I love boats so I am partial to boat stores. If you like boats as well give this store a shot in the Grove. It isn't far from downtown and you'll soon be on the water enjoying your purchases. I like this better than Boater's World but it's farther from Kendall.
Boating Supplies My husband and I always find what we need for our power boat at West Marine. Most recently we needed to replace a light on the boat trailer and it was easy to locate at this store. Their prices are fair and the staff is always helpful. We have also purchased various replacment parts here. PROS: Good Prices & Selection CONS:
Awesome retail business! Very nice and knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you need they bend over backwards to get it. Prices are fair. I was buying a gps and saw it cheaper a Bass Pro shop and they price matched it for me. They are great on returns too. I would recommend them. Oh and they are dog friendly. Scooby loves to go to that store for treats.
Boats This is the second location for West Marine. They have the new line of fishing boats that are really a great value. Try Rick West marine..Great company and new boats.
horrible customer service I purchased an engagement ring from Nancy (owner) in June 2007. So far, two small diamonds have fallen out. They replaced one for me but put a lesser quality stone in place. I had a trusted jeweler with whom my family has done business with for years inspect the ring, they found cracks in the gold underneath, poor workmanship on the center mounting, and loose stones around the side. Dare Jewelers is awesome... My husband has purchased several things for me from this establishment and we have never had any problems. The latest was a watch this Christmas which is beautiful. He has found the owner to be extremely kind and helpful. thank you Dare Jewelers Ginny Mavredes
Nice selection of Jewelry and they do repairs too! It isn't often you find a jeweler who still does repairs. And when you do, they often make you feel like a 'second class citizen'. Not these people. They have a lovely selection of jewelry (most out of my price range!), but I have never encountered the snobbery here that I have elsewhere when I simply need a jewelry repair.
