First let me say that the office staff is fantastic and very caring. My one star is for Dr. Shilling. My poor Isabel (dog) was sick from Nov 10th till when she died in the early morning of December 4th. I first took her in on Nov.10th due to diarrhea and Dr. Schilling gave her pain pills because I mentioned she didn’t have the ability to jump as she used to have. I adopted Ace from Kurth Memorial Animal shelter and he came to me parvo positive and with hook worms. He started vomiting and having Diarrhea. I took him to an emergency after hours visit to another animal hospital in town and was quoted $1800-$2500 for treatment which I couldn’t afford. Fortunately I was able to get Ace to West Loop Animal Hospital where they hooked him up to IV’s and 4 days later he’s back home. I absolutely love Dr. Richards! He’s down to earth, listens to every concern, & answers all your questions!! He & his staff were quite surprised with my Danes! 😆
Dr Richards has always been one of my favorite vets, and his office is very quiet and relaxing for owners and pets.

I have been taking my dog Ace to them for three years and I have never had to wait for a appointment. He has always been seen quickly even when I just walk in. pricing is normal compare to others maybe a little cheaper.
They r awesome! They have a friendly staff and will answer any questions! They r not like ur average animal clinic.
