I was there with my mom today. The whole experience was one that, if you found yourself in emergency, you'd want to find yourself here. From our first interaction with security, the two staff members that signed her in, to Brittany, Dr Sami ( both were amazing) and Dr Singh (also fantastic) who took over and explained everything to us, we felt cared for, listened to and that everyone ensured we understood all the information. The lack of service and lack of compassion from the nurses in this hospital is nothing but complete disappointment. They are there to just socialize and hide on their phones, not care for their sick patients. Nurse Dieandra in C ward needs to find another job, she is nothing but rude and completely dismissive. Anytime my mother asked her for medication, or even a blanket, she would huff and roll her eyes. Short staffed, not enough beds.. the expansion, when it opens, will hopefully curb these issues.
One of the worst emergency doctors. My mother cut her hand with a food processor. We waited 13 hours and the doctor didn't stitch it properly and caused nerve damage.
