They have a great selection of household goods and food. Certainly their wine and spirits section deserves a mention with their excellent selection, particularly of local products, such as the uniquely pure, locally made Ingenioz vodka as invented at Iowa State University. The manager and staff are also extremely helpful.
What is going on with the floors? They are falling apart completely, and the solution? Black tape to cover up tiles that are falling apart. It’s in every single aisle. You’d think such a huge company would be able to do something about this.

We had Hy-Vee west Des Moines on grand and ep true cater our wedding and Larry did an amazing job! Everything looked and tasted just as we expected. We really felt Larry went above and beyond to make our wedding meal run so smoothly!
