All staff are always very informative and kind my past few visits!
For sure the worst place to go too ! First visit they told me I was pregnant, I’ve had a hysterectomy . Went to KGH definitely not ! Months later went back told the doctor probably wouldn’t see me , I should find a family doctor 🫡 clearly that hasn’t been my struggle Just go to a walk in or hospital you are better off !!
We were told by a nurse that we will not be seen because we have a doctor and that urgent care serves those without a doctor and we were told to leave even though my partner has type one diabetes and has serious health conditions that needed examining. We need to go back as the condition seriously worsened..the probability of seeing a doctor ( we were told) was extremely slim but we could see a nurse. We had an amazing experience. 90 mins in and out with a very caring and thorough dr. Admin staff and nurses were all lovely and even gave all of our kids popsicles while we waited.
Called and asked reception if they can give me a couple of stitches for my finger. The receptionist said yes no problem we can do finger stitches. Drove from Kelowna, working near the hospital. When I arrived the receptionist said NO way we can do any stitches no doctor??????? Like why did you guys say that you could in the first place. Then they said, go to the hospital. I was just near there!!!! A nurse is not capable of doing a couple stitches either??? Outrageous.
