Beautiful and quiet beach
It’s a bummer that visitors any pay to park during the day. We had to come back at 3:45 when they closed to enjoy the beach. There is a seaweed side and a sandy side and we set up on the seaweed side not knowing.
Small parking lot. Open to residents of the Town of Fairhaven. Must purchase a beach pass. Out of town passes are available in the spring and are limited. The beach itself is pretty and the sand is very fine and white. The beach is on a point, to the right is a shorter walk through the dunes. To the left is a longer path through the marsh. Pack light. One of the best beaches on the south coast! Beautiful crescent shaped beach that is mostly sandy. Usually windy, sometimes buggy. Bathrooms and lifeguards from June to September. No showers or changing room. You need a town beach permit or rental guest pass. Unfortunately no day passes, a change made during the pandemic.
