This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending a wellness weekend retreat. Every detail was extremely well thought out from the wonderful speakers to the personalized gifts. Each woman was on a journey yet we all felt supported and comfortable because of all the work that Lisa and her team put into the event.

This place may be great for women, but as a man I felt completely overlooked and unsupported. The focus is clearly one-sided, and my concerns were not taken seriously at all. As a center, this feels like a failure when it comes to providing balanced, inclusive care. Even during the month of November, they organized women’s groups and a women’s retreat while completely ignoring men. That was honestly shocking and very telling.
