This place is great! I had the beef stroganoff and the recipe was original and delicious. The service and ambiance was great as well. I encourage everyone to try it out if you get a chance.

While it is true that The West Inn still allows smoking inside, the outside area is always open - delightful in the summer and closed in and heated in the winter. The restaurant is casual and laid back and the menu is tasty - Shrimp Scampi quesadillas, citrus pork enchiladas, Gouda cheese dip, and the chicken tortilla soup are some of our favorites. Any place that permits smoking if fine with me. I dont smoke regularly, never inhale and dislike old butts smells as well. But this place is cool and the appearnace of Little Green Men on Thursday nights make the trip worthwhile. I recommend a visit there on that night of the week anytime. Food and service and overall attitude of the folks is great for Jacksonville where service and food are noted at opposite ends of the compass.
