I have been a patient at West Hills Medical since 1994 when I moved to Coalinga. I have received excellent care throughout the years from Doctor Griffin, his P.A. Don Erwin and the nurses and support staff. Each has always been supportive and attentive.

Three weeks waiting to have a follow up appointment, then they tell me it was for one week, doctor told me two weeks so I waited for them to schedule me as for years of going to different doctors they usually give your appointment before you walk out the door. Nothing. Finally I go in and they are trying to get results of my xray the time of the appointment, yes did I mentioned three weeks waiting. So happens the system was down and nothing could be done, why did they waited last minute? What do they do in that office? just ... read more

Dr. Griffin is an exceptional primary care physician. He is thorough, compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. He always takes the time to listen and explain things clearly. However, the office staff could use some improvement. They aren't always the friendliest or most helpful. Getting through to them on the phone can be a challenge, and an overall exhausting experience. What’s the point of having a primary care physician, if the office staff can’t match Dr. Griffin’s care for his patients.
