great place to go I am surprised Sophia R. had a bad experience. I always find the doctors and the staff are friendly and competent, and definitely professional. Compared to other local vets, their prices are VERY reasonable, even cheap. I highly recommend this hospital.
Sophia Used to love this vet. Weren't there more doctors a few years back? Kind of got a flippant attitude and was charged way too much money for a visit as compared to other vets in the area. Although emergencies occur and things can happen that will affect appointment times, one hour is too long to wait. An apology is in order when appointments are kept waiting so long, but none was forthcoming. Ver unprofessional. Such a shame.

Trustworthy, professional and competent vet My family has been using this vet for at least 10 years. I have never had a bad experience as indicated by one of the reviewers. The vets are compassionate, competent and professional. We just adopted a new puppy and will trust this puppy into the care of West Hempstead Animal Hospital and Dr. Devito, as well as their other staff members.
Great Hospital! I have been taking my dog to West Hempstead Animal Hospital for the past 3 years, and I can't brag enough about them. The doctors are very caring and really know how to connect with the animals. The vet techs are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.
must use ok this is the must use vet. first off you want a vet to care and they most certanily do. i have seen them help many people and care very much about your cat and other pet. they are always caring and never cold
