Dr Ward is the best Vet I have ever taken my lil kiddos to. She is brilliant, gentle, very kind and empathetic. Im 69 and I’ve had several Japanese Chins. She’s the perfect vet. She makes me and my kids feel loved. Because that’s how she is. She has had to put a few down. When that happens, the entire practice gets quiet. She lets me have all the time I need to say goodbye until I see them again at The Rainbow Bridge. She is worth the short drive from Baltimore or Frederick to West Friendship m. If the photo doesn't scare you away, by all means go here. Basically they looked at the cat, said there was no getting well, gave her a shot and took care of the body. $1k seems unreasonable to me. BTW, they had other stuff to sell too, cancer tests etc. which we declined. Working people over like this is mercenary and opportunistic IMO. Shameful.

UPDATE, April 2025: We were only at WFAH for less than a year, but they are wonderful. WFAH is filled with caring people who genuinely care about your pet and you. From our first to our last visit, our senior cat was treated as if she spent her whole life being treated at WFAH. Special thank you to Dr. Renee, Jessica, Remy and everyone else.
