This company doesn’t provide electricity, it provides the concept of electricity, delivered inconsistently and billed with total confidence. I’ve had more uptime from a AA battery I found in a junk drawer. At this point I assume the control room is a single breaker switch with a sticky note that says ‘good luck.’ Every outage arrives with the reliability of a coin flip and the dignity of a fuse box held together with hope. I just got a place today. Called about seeing how to turn on the electric. They told me they would be open til 5pm. I drove from Marianna and got here at 4:40. THEY WERE CLOSED AND TOLD ME TO COME. So my first day in a new unit will have no power. They want a $350 deposit. I NEVER paid such a high deposit and which mean their meter rates and readings must be high. FPL is ridiculously high and I still did not have to pay a high deposit. FPU waived it. I wonder if they will subtract the gas I used from the deposit. Or maybe I ... read more
