Worst Mothers Day Brunch I have ever experienced. We had noon reservations and it was as though they were surprised. Wait staff uninformed, the buffet was nearly empty and sloppy. They ran out of mimosas and no dessert to be offered. The bill was $300 for 3 people. REALLY?? You can do better than this. The place has potential. Get it together!
We have been going here for years and have loved it. We went to the Mother's Day brunch a couple of weeks ago and were extremely disappointed. Most of the time the buffet trays were empty and when they were filled the food was cold and inedible. My husband asked a member of staff for a waffle as the tray was empty. They told him they would bring it to him. We never saw it. We were told our only option for dessert was the yogurt parfait but we never saw that either. "Boiled NY Strip". That is about the best way I could describe our experience. Upon arriving to what was expected to be a nice 4pm outdoor dinner with my wife and daughters, we arrived to a chaotic scene of tables still be set up, staff shuffling around tables, seats, glassware, etc. (which would be understandable if we arrived early, but we arrived exactly at 4pm). New ownership and a chatty cast of young servers did not upset the apple cart of a very fine meal with a beautiful view, but they will need some additional training to make me bump this to five stars - you’re almost there!
Please save yourself the trouble and don’t order any of the salads. I got the Caesar salad and added chicken. First of all, the salad itself is 13 dollars, but add chicken and it’s 21 dollars, which seems like an insane price for an add on. Before my salad came out, the table next to us was complaining to the waiter about the size of her salad, which was more expensive than mine and entirely too small for the price.
