We've been patients of Dr. Child's for 10 years, and I don't think it's a coincidence that our Frenchie is nearing 15. Her expertise and care have played a huge role in the amount of quality time we've had with him. Some of the one-star reviews seem to conflate surprise at veterinary bills with poor service. For almost 7years the West End Veterinary Clinic team cares for my cat Romeo and they continue to do so and I’m very grateful to them, Thank you West End Veterinary for responsible health care.
West end vet is the best, I take my two labs here. Dr. Helene Childs and her team do an excellent job. Well scheduled, friendly and professional service. They took great care of Brooks (13 week old) when she got sick, they also keep Oscar up to date at his annual check ups. Both happy dogs and a happy owner when we walk out the door. Highly recommend!
Not suitable for rabbits. Took my rabbit in to get neutered where he died 48 hours after. When I called the vet to ask what happened she said it is very common for rabbits to die after getting neutered / spayed. This unfortunately was not communicated to me and didn't seem like the vet cared, just wanted the $$$. For rabbits, they should be taken to Eagle Ridge Animal and Bird Hospital instead.
