So sad this place is closing. John Ruberry is great - no fluff just straight to the issue. He is very evidence based and scientific with his approach and lays out options logically for you. A lot of other GPs aren’t clear and talk in circles or dismiss any request for explaining.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Susan Andersen for over 20 years. She has seen me through all of life’s big events and traumas, and I cannot thank her and West End Medical Practice enough. Now that I’m looking for a new GP in Hobart I realise how special my relationship with her has been. She’s someone who listens and believes you, is reassuring and compassionate and the practice doesn’t treat patients like commodities and values people’s time - they ring when appointments are late, provide scripts out of appointments and reschedu... read more

Call to book an appointment the receptionist/told me she was the manager I needed to get a script refilled and have recently moved to the area. Asked if anyone doctors were available to help when I told her there were no appointments at my old doctors surgery, she hung up the phone, I proceeded to call back the phone number when she picked up.
