I’m honestly devastated to hear about the closure of the Perth store. I only learned of the brand through the Perth store. West Elm became my favourite furniture store because I could see and experience pieces in person, something most brands don’t offer in Perth. And as a result, around 80% of my furniture has been from West Elm. Even though I often ordered online, I would’ve happily purchased more in store if more pieces were available for quicker delivery but that rarely seemed to be the case. Beautiful, creative, minimalist and original products. Concerning the Perth store, the staff have always been incredibly friendly and eager to help. I don't see why they should be rated so poorly for past COVID related delays. I think that was an unfortunate one-off experience beyond the staff's control. It's also great that West Elm have switched to a better delivery service that makes it easier to book when you want your delivery to arrive.
