I was looking for a sofa for over a month, have went to countless stores in and around NYC. This location and more important the general manager, Erinn, was SO helpful. Looking for furniture is already an annoying process but she was so helpful and genuine. She didn't push me or ignore me when she realized I was buying today. She just gave me my options, was respectful and helped in any way she could. 10/10 experience and will be personally shopping at this store in the future.
I am very happy with my recent experience with West Elm's Broadway store. The entire management and staff are professional, helpful and customer-focused. If you are in the store, look for Usman Javed. He made sure that all my questions were answered and he was patient, prompt, knowledgeable and had great design suggestions and he earned my complete trust with my furniture decisions. This review is not specific to this store or staff in NYC - I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with West Elm. I purchased a sofa bed during the Black Friday sale in November 2024, which was finally delivered on January 10, 2025. A few weeks later, when I went to use the pull-out bed feature — the entire reason I selected this couch — I discovered the bed mechanism was completely dysfunctional. Had a very positive experience visiting this store. I was helped by an amazing sales associate Jasmine, whose impressive knowledge of design and spaces was so helpful. She really understood my vision for what I was trying to create in terms of a modern bedroom space.
