Stylish but pricey The furniture and other household goods at West Elm are stylish, but quite expensive. I definitely think IKEA or Pier 1 Imports are better options for people on a budget. I also think the selection is somewhat limited, especially in comparison with larger chain stores like IKEA. It was fun to look, but I have not purchased anything from this store.
Great Selection of modern furniture and housewares West Elm is a nice place to buy modern furniture and various housewares. Their prices are definately not IKEA, but the quality and style are top notch and worth the cost. They have two new stores opening in CA - San Diego and Santa Monica. All of their other stores are on the east coast. Previously, I have shopped through their website and have nothing but complements for the quality of service and timeliness of delivery.
