Dr. Dhindsa diagnosed me with Hashimoto’s but told me nothing could be done since my thyroid levels were “normal.” I wasn’t looking for medication—I asked for guidance with diet or supplements to help manage my symptoms, but she dismissed everything. She was unhelpful, unsympathetic, and told me I could just go somewhere else. I left feeling ignored and discouraged.
Dr. Dhindsa pushed me to get a biopsy after my primary brushed off my symptoms and wanted me to follow up in a year. She called with my results this morning so I wouldn’t find out through my chart. The cells came back as abnormal and possible thyroid carcinoma. Even during the biopsy the hospital staff was questioning why I was there. Thank god for this doctor who finally listened to me and took the time to listen and advocate for me. She is truly amazing!
Request for refill update no response or update and currently my sugar level are at 500. Top of that I am also very much disappointed in this provider. I was optimistic at first but when I went through more insulin than I thought I would go through and needed a refill they said they would not refill till my next appointment which would not have worked because I was out and needed to do a pump change before my appointment. They make it difficult to get your prescriptions.
