The rom was fairly comfortable and the front desk staff were lovely upon check-in, but there were several issues during my stay that affected my ability to rest and enjoy the evening. I did reach out for support, but never heard back. The first issue was that I was unable to relax and watch TV as someone in the area was controlling my TV with with a 'Magic Remote' and repeatedly changing the channels and turning the volume up and down. mostly manned by volunteers and students spacooous rooms and good if you are attending an event in ubc much cheaper than the downtown options and there is onsite parking there is open kitchen with four stove heater for cooking and also capsule coffee if you have a friend here with a laundry machine in one of the student complexes you are all set

Couldn't ask for mo... wait... it was a little tricky to get to the hotel from parking first time. The atmosphere was awesome. So beautiful and safe. The staff was super friendly.

I booked one night at this property several months ago when supply in the city was limited and prices were sky-high. We were forced to book a non-refundable stay. With still more than a month window of time, supply and pricing in the city has returned to normal. We asked to be released from our reservation to choose a better location for us. We even communicated that the trip was an anniversary, and therefore important. The property denied us, and we lost over $300 in cancelling, which of course we did because this property ... read more
