Definitely the best storage facility in Seattle. I've rented from the big orange brand and their facilities were falling apart and the garage door was broken for a like a year, holding everyones large items hostage. So I moved. In sharp contrast, West Coast Self Storage is professional and the staff are friendly and attentive and available by phone or text if something goes wrong. Our rent went from $97 to $150 in less than a year across three separate increases. Be aware that prices can rise quickly and without much notice. Update (01/29/2026): We’ve received our fourth instance of a rent increase today, with a raised price from $150 to $171. In total, that represents 4 rate increases over the course of two years. Adjusting down rating to 1 star.

Storage rate has increased 165% in two years. We began at $64 per month, and it is now $171 despite zero noticeable increases to the quality of the establishment. The rate of increase is well beyond inflation or normal annual rate increases. It’s disgusting.

Location was secure and convenient access. I paid for premium to get a storage unit closer to the elevator but ended up with a unit far away from it and they wouldn't refund me or change my unit. Then they had a rat infestation and our unit was full of rodent droppings so we left.
