While our immune compromised daughter was at BayCare during December 2021, being slowwly weaned from a vent, BayCare chose to move covid patients into the same ward and immediately next door to her. West Coast Infectious Disease doctors did not raise any objections to this. --- On Christmass day, via tele-med, a WCID doctor decided our daughter had an ear infection. We saw Dr. Gonzalez. He explained everything regarding the treatments & how care would proceed. We were told if we had any questions or concerns to call the office & speak with the Nurse’s Station. We have called many times. The nurses were professional & kind, addressing every call we made. We recommend WCID.
