I’ve seen Dr Chan a few times. I so appreciate the fact that he didn’t just listen to me, he actually heard me. I will always wait for him to be available or if needed drive to the Oxnard office if I can’t wait.
I brought my 5-year-old son in for an ENT evaluation for enlarged tonsils and adenoids that clearly require surgery. The visit itself felt careless — no basic vitals were taken (no oxygen level, no blood pressure), which is hard to justify for a child with breathing issues. After the appointment, I was told I needed to contact someone named Cindy to schedule surgery. I called every day for 5 days with zero response. Dr. Chan did a great job, but he charged me for almost everything. First, he charged me for two sessions instead of one because it took extra time to clean the wax. I was totally fine with that. However, what I can’t accept is that he charged me an extra $40 for a follow-up visit that I had already paid for. The follow-up visit didn’t even take more than five minutes.
