My girlfriend and I were on vacation in the Portland and Seattle areas, and had made it a point to visit Kyle's nursery during our trip. We had planned to go on a particular day, but the freeway just so happened to flood the night before. So we juggled our schedule and tried again the next day. Least to say, we were determined. We turned onto a dirt road and drove up his front yard, where he greeted us. Highly recommend, especially if you’re a new carnivorous plant owner! Kyle is very knowledgeable and will teach you anything you’re willing to learn! I bought my first Nepenthes (Monkey Cup) last year & needed more advise with help on repotting. He did all of that & included more care tips!
Kyle is a true carnivorous plant enthusiast. He is incredibly knowledgeable regarding plant care to the different varieties of plants and origins. I had a very enlightening and wonderful experience at this nursery. His plants are of great quality and a diverse collection to choose from. He mostly have Sarracenias but also grows Venus fly traps, sundews, pinguiculas and some nephenthes. I was not disappointed in wisdom gained and bought plenty to expand my collection as well. His prices are very affordable and generous. He de... read more
Kyle is very informative and kind and the plants were beautiful, the prices are extremely reasonable only 45 bucks for 3 sundews, 1 pitcher plant, 1 butterwort (came with one of the sundews) and a Venus flytrap (probably even more than that I wouldn’t be surprised if some other plants dropped some seeds in there), any other store or Amazon dealer would have sold that for 130, highly recommended will be visiting again next time I’m making a bog garden.
