These guys send unlicensed subcontractors to do the work (their own sub told me they weren’t licensed to do ac work), few days after they worked on my ac unit it stopped working. It was a weekend so had to call someone else to diagnose the issue and try to get my ac operational. Come to find out the wiring in the area they worked on had experienced some serious arcing and had completely burnt. Absolute Bait & Switch operation. Caleb offered a low price on a mini split unit for the upstairs so I went with it. I set up an appointment and paid a 50% deposit. Then, on the DAY BEFORE they were scheduled to install it, and after I had paid over $10k in a deposit for the minisplit, another unit, and some other work, they send me a text saying that the 2024 mini split I contracted and paid for was no longer available, and that they were going to install a 2022 unit instead--for the same price!--plus they told me that the ... read more

We arrived home after being gone three weeks to find the house hot. We called West Austin Air Conditioning because of their great reviews. We were not disappointed. Because of the pleasant experience with their scheduler to the prompt response by the technician, Brian, we give five stars. Brian diagnosed the issue immediately and efficiently repaired and checked our system out. We will use them again!
