This salon is under new ownership, I’ve been coming here for over two years. They are absolutely the WORST. I’ve given them chance after chance but I can’t any longer. They have rescheduled every. single. appointment. I have ever made this past year. Last week I had an appointment and surprise surprise, they call me 2 hours before and need to reschedule. I get my hair colored and cut from Dominic Rubio and I have been a loyal client of his for a while now, and I cannot sing his praises enough. From the moment I walk into his salon, I am greeted with warmth and professionalism. He makes me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I sit down in his chair. Love love love this salon! I have been coloring my hair since I was 16, and felt every time something was comprised- either the color was off or the integrity of my hair to go light. Since coming to West 29th salon my hair has felt so healthy and has been able to be light (the perfect duo). Dominic is knowledgeable about the texture of my hair and how to keep it healthy, as that is a main goal for me! Highly recommend this gem of a place! If you are looking for a bayalage or to lighten your hair, Dominic is your person!!!!!
