Had a very expensive eye exam done here and had requested a prescription for contacts and glasses. Only got the glasses prescription and now being asked to pay again for the contact lenses prescription. Was told “sorry you feel that way” when I said this was unfortunate considering this place charges the most I’ve come across for a standard eye exam (despite insurance or msp coverage) Customer service should be much better

I am sad that I feel distressed enough to post a 1 star review of an optometrist's office that I have been a loyal client of for more than 15 years. Dr Rupnow is an excellent and caring professional. However, in the last few years I have noted a decline in the front desk service, I did not receive any reminders of the bi-annual exam the last few rounds, and sensed a weary uncaring vibe from the front desk staff. I bought new glasses there a few weeks ago. They were VERY expensive. Today I popped in to have them adjusted. I felt like I was wasting their time. The person said there were no long nose pieces for my glasses. I don’t think she even checked their stock. She clearly didn’t appreciate my request to adjust how they were sitting after she made the first adjustment. Then she even argued that they were NOT sitting askew. This is my first and only experience buying glasses there and I will NOT be returning.
I drive in from over 150km away to come here they're fantastic
