Great professionals and amazing human beings that support you in whatever you're going through. Cancer diagnosis a really difficult pill to swallow and sometimes the people that are close to you are as overwhelmed and scared as you are. This help group was recommended by strangers. It's located near my apartment so thought I'd give it a try. I filled out the intake form and the person called me back and said she wanted to double check something. She wanted to double check that it was filled out correctly because I had listed that I was on oral chemotherapy and IV chemotherapy, and then she went on to say that she was surprised because she's never had a client that had had metastatic breast cancer for so long and that had been on IV chemo for so long. Poorly run organization after we lost a loved one we tried to get resources here with no luck. The people we did speak to were short with us and very disorganized. They could not get our names straight even after several times corresponding. Very disappointing and non empathetic group. Stay away.
