The center is apparently run by out of touch elderly white women that display a high level of ignorance. Out of the blue they decline to provide services and actually insinuated that someone I know was faking cancer. I saw the correspondence and it's pretty disturbing. It looks like there are different rules for different people depending on how you look. I would avoid this place, this is truly vial behavior. She is filing a claim with the Office of Civil Rights, if this happens to you, please do the same.
Warning to other patients: I was denied services in a way that felt discriminatory and inconsistent with the center’s own policy. They state that services are available up to 5 years after treatment, but for me they arbitrarily applied it only to active treatment, with no documentation or explanation. I honestly don’t know their motive, but it feels less like policy and more like arbitrary targeting. Great professionals and amazing human beings that support you in whatever you're going through. Cancer diagnosis a really difficult pill to swallow and sometimes the people that are close to you are as overwhelmed and scared as you are.
