My daughter gave birth at Wesley Maternity recently - after losing her partner in a car accident whilst pregnant. The entire staff were made aware of my daughter’s difficult circumstances - and I was astounded at the level of compassion and care she received by everyone we dealt with. I could not praise this facility more highly.
I’m so grateful for the incredible care I received during my stay. The midwives were absolutely amazing — so supportive, knowledgeable, and kind. They took the time to guide me through everything and made me feel confident and cared for throughout. The hospital itself was spotless and well-maintained. And I have to say, the food was delicious — I have been dreaming of the cottage pie since I left! Thank you to the whole team for making such an important experience feel safe and supported.
The midwives were great! They care for you and your baby and have always taken the time to check on you. The Special Nursery Care has been a gem in caring for my daughter, always encouraging and supportive of the parents, especially the mothers. Shout out to Toni, Jo, and Rose!!!! They are our favourites who have cared so much for our baby Olivia - they are experts and we highly recommend Wesley Maternity Department as they are composed of experienced people.
I had my baby at the Wesley 2 weeks ago and I cannot fault them. The care was second to none, not only from the nurses and midwives but also from the food services staff, cleaners and porters. I felt listened to and respected throughout my stay. My baby needed to spend a night in special care and the nurses and midwives made sure I was kept up to date while she was away from me. I highly recommend the Wesley Maternity service to anyone.
