I wanted something very specific for our family photos: organic captures of us as a young family doing something that we love (which apparently is hiking in freezing temps, sorry Wes!) Not only did Wes far exceed my vision but he gave us a time capsule that we will cherish forever. Wes is storyteller with a true gift of telling that story in an authentic way. I can’t recommend him enough! Plan something fun and invite Wes along!

A photo shoot of four camera-shy sisters on a bitter cold afternoon (accompanied by wind, rain and hail) is not exactly a recipe for success. Yet somehow, Wes got pictures that were not only terrific (shot from unique perspectives, drawing out the lights and contrasts in the background) but also captured the raw essence of our sisterly commeraderie and made it beautiful. Wes did an amazing job capturing really special moments that made me feel authentic to who I am. I highly recommend him if you are someone that is not looking for standard poses, but genuine and authentic poses.

Wesley came to our home to take photos of our family and was incredibly accommodating. With three kids under 5 years old family photos can be stressful, but Wesley and Irene were amazing with our kids and made us feel comfortable. Everything felt natural and we often weren't even aware of the creative candids he was getting while we did normal family stuff. Those ended up being some of our favorite photos. Wesley will be our family's photographer for years to come. We can't wait to hire him again.

I love how our pictures came out! Our time with Wes was so relaxing without the pressure of putting on the "perfect pose" especially with a toddler. I just focused on having fun with my daughter knowing he could capture us as our most natural selves; that makes me cherish our pictures even more!
