To all people planning to deliver in mercy hospital, my advise is that DO NOT! The system has been broken! I wonder how all those maternity doctors they got this far? (don't get me wrong there are a few outliers). Clearly in my experience, most of the doctors have a an extreme poor technical computency, professionalism, and poor communication skill! Interestigly, I found that they hide things which at their fault. Avoid Avoid Avoid this messy hospital!
The experience we had particularly a service given by doctors is really unimaginably worst. Eventhough, our experience with doctors is bad, we had an awesome experience with midwife along with the special nurse for kids. My message to doctors of maternity team, you have a lot of improvement areas that needs to be done. For instance, try to have a skilled doctors who have got a good communication skill and emphatic. Really enjoyed my experience with Werribee Mercy delivering my second child. The midwives, drs and all the support staff were exceptional in their treatment and knowledge. Especially midwife Fiona who’s worked at Werribee mercy for 30 years. What an honour and luck to have been looked after by her on my way out of my c section at midnight until the next morning.
