My wife is 26 weeks pregnant, and we have been trying to get her maternity file accepted at this hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital has not been willing to look at or process her file. This has been very disappointing and stressful for us, especially during such an important stage of pregnancy. I've now given birth at this hospital 3 times. 2012, 2016 and 2025. I always advocate for coming back here as my overall experience was good. All the staff involved in every part of the process were kind, informative and encouraging. Even upon coming back due to major PPA, they cared for me and my baby. They were there during the night to help me with feeding so I could get rest. All the staff were lovely. To all people planning to deliver in mercy hospital, my advise is that DO NOT! The system has been broken! I wonder how all those maternity doctors they got this far? (don't get me wrong there are a few outliers). Clearly in my experience, most of the doctors have a an extreme poor technical computency, professionalism, and poor communication skill! Interestigly, I found that they hide things which at their fault. Avoid Avoid Avoid this messy hospital!
The experience we had particularly a service given by doctors is really unimaginably worst. Eventhough, our experience with doctors is bad, we had an awesome experience with midwife along with the special nurse for kids. My message to doctors of maternity team, you have a lot of improvement areas that needs to be done. For instance, try to have a skilled doctors who have got a good communication skill and emphatic.
