When I saw Dr. Wernicki about my shoulder pain, I wanted to get an MRI to rule out a torn rotator cuff which I had to my other shoulder 3 years prior. I know my body pretty good and felt the pain was exactly the same , but the doctor insisted that he give me a shot of cortisone first to see if that would relieve the problem. I advised him that I had previously received a cortisone shot which only gave a temporary relief for a couple of days. I believe that he rarely listens to his patients.
