When i was training , my student drove and i was in the passenger seat , then i would drive my hours out then in the middle of the night another driver would bang on the door and say hes there to swap loads and every swap was for way less miles than the original . Plus swapping trailer when you out of hours and sleeping is bullshit. The dispatchers times for delivery are way to tight , they lack humanity. Etc... time to stop for a shower or eat its always drive drive drive like your a robot.
Bring back the other guard shack. Whoever decided to have only ONE guard here needs to get fired. Huge safety concern. If it's because of budget cuts, starting from the top would've been a better option.
