Halfway through a season I was rudely kicked out of a league run by Des Brown because of the color of my skin. In a time of such hatred amongst races this was a very disappointing decision and handled terribly. To do it in the middle of the season is especially cruel. Do not expect ethical or unbiased treatment by this organization, especially from an organization that claims community and Christianity.

Met the gentleman and his daughter at the grant park pickle ball court! We learned a lot while we were playing there. It is such a fun sport that doesn’t hurt the body too much. Highly recommended to try out

Hats off to Des Brown for starting WePickle and spreading this great sport to age groups and populations that might not have heard about it. I love seeing kids getting passionate about it. I’ve know Des for several years and he’s one of my favorite PB partners and opponents. The game is always more fun when he’s on the court. The kids of Charleston are lucky to have Des and WePickle.
