I have been in and out of the program for 3 years or so. To say I am happy with how I have been treated and educated and cared for, would be an understatement. The staff is amazing, from the moment you come into the office. My nutritionist shows a level of care and interest in my well being that is second to none. The best center for weight management and bariatric surgery. They put so much effort into education both before and after surgery as well as support groups to help you be successful long term. They truly care about their patients. You will not just be a number at this practice!
Completed the program, I’d say in about 6 months Oct-Feb 2024 Lots of time and lots of effort on my part and theirs. Everyone was friendly. There was a hitch, I am a breast cancer survivor(completed in July 2024),which was disclosed to them on day one. I got a call from the director at the end of completing and billing for all the necessary prerequisites for surgery. Only to be told I needed to wait two years out from my cancer surgery. I would have liked to find out how wonderful the program is however at my psych eval they decided that I have an eating disorder and I was basically kicked out until I got therapy. That's all well and good if I could find a specialistthst I could afford or actually at all. I think they should have therapists there that specializes in eating disorders. I have to say I felt left out in the cold. Burr
