I got trigger point injections at the pain management office located on 158 NH Route 108 in Somersworth, NH, which can be scary and a little painful. However, my nurse Kat and provider Kimberly McMahon were a dream team. They allowed me to have autonomy over my body and the process, calmly explained everything, and even walked me through a meditation during the procedure. The previous edition at Marshbrook offered more services (there was a travelling DME salesman who comes to you) but for this practice what they do may be effective enough for some patients, I had 3 fold better results in Dover at DMC next to the fire station, especially Dr. Hsu at their Pain center. DR KIM, IS THE WORST PAIN DR I HAVE MET. I SHOT FOR MY BACK APRIL 7TH. MY PAIN LEVEL AT THAT TIME WAS 8. I HAD THE SHOT BY HIM. I HAVE HAD THESE SHOTS BEFORE. THIS SHOT WAS NOT LIKE I HAD. My appointment started off with someone handing me a SOAPP-R form which is misogynistic BS especially when I am not on pain meds & I understood they don't prescribe actual pain meds anyways. Dr Kim walked in the room, said I cant help you & left the room! I was gaslit when I called WDHs patient services. I received a letter claiming I was told I needed "tertiary care" I had to look it up & the dr never said that or I would have asked what it meant & not had to look it up when I got the insulting letter from Wentworth Douglas... read more
