Not the best. Parking is horrendous. There are no unassigned handicapped parking spaces and you are lucky if you don’t have to park under an oak that covers your car in sap that doesn’t come off in a car wash. I feel like I am living in a 1970’s project.
This is an elderly housing Authority. Beautifully maintained, with amazing grounds, they even have garden plots where the residence can grow their own flowers and vegetables. They also have a greenhouse. At the end of the property is a barn with a giant field and a small pond. Simply the most amazing Authority I have ever seen. I believe you have to be over the age of 60 to apply, nevertheless, it is gorgeous.
I waited on the list 7 YEARS for senior housing-and hit the jackpot! We have great residents. We have a bake-off in my building-muffns! cookies! breads left at my doorstep, a lovely community hall, community gardens, a greenhouse-and are walkable to the MBTA train, post office, doctor's offices, pizza shop/great restaurants, CVS, library, grocery stores, a Food Project Farm and conservation land walking trails. Sweet life.
