I have met many people in the psychological field. Many seemed like they were just going down a list of programmed responses. Dr. Picard is a critical thinker that comes up with solutions and ideas that helped me, my wife, and us dealing with our child that has disabilities. I have only had one other psychologist like her in California. She also keeps up with the latest information which means she is passionate about her profession not just someone who got the degree and has been going on old information from 20 years ago. Wendy Picard has been my family therapist for decades. Growing up and doing sessions with her has always left me and my older sister feeling not heard or seen what so ever. All she ever did was enable my mothers terrible behavior, and still to this day my mom (whom I love don’t get me wrong) has these behavior traits that she refuses to acknowledge or recognize.
