I knew him first I knew Wendell when I was a kid in the 2nd and 3rd grades. He was a great kid. We made forts out of boxes of milk bottle caps in the storage room at his grandfather's dairy. Neat forts with tunnels and small rooms for us to hide in and stuff. His grandfather owned Alpenrose Dairy. The workers would get furious at us and run us off.
