Wendel Klein's team is consistently and reliably competent. Is that a low bar, you ask? Not in the trades alas. Show up on time, execute well, finish on time, deliver on a promise - builders work with extraordinary variables and few do so well - Jared and his team are the exception to the rule - my company works with them as a subcontractor and I have used their team on my own home so I have seen both sides - and so cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wendel Klein completed a gut renovation and addition to our kitchen in late 2014/early 2015 and did an amazing job. This was not an easy task, as our house is over 300 years old and has numerous restrictions and the typical difficulties of renovating an old house. The project leader was on-site almost every day and their excellent crew was very consistent throughout the project. Working with Jared and his crew was a wonderful experience and we plan to work with them again, whenever we have a project. In fact, they will be rebuilding our outdoor deck next month. They are honest, competent, pleasant and easy to work with and a pleasure to have around. Having found them and worked with them, we won't look any further for a contractor. They are totally trustworthy and we were fine with them having our key. That says it all!

Wendel Klein Builders have completed two major projects of our home; one just after we bought the house and the other a year later (that shows how happy we were with their work.) Jared and his people are highly skilled, reliable, thorough, neat and friendly. Wendel Klein did a large reno (new kitchen and master bath, along with many other smaller projects) for us, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Not only was it done early and within budget, but the quality and attention to detail was top notch. They even touched up some things after the final payment, when most contractors can't be found. We worked with Jared for the planning/scoping, and Will (who was excellent) as the foreman. Would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a major home reno.
