I recently had 2 appointments with my long known GP of more than 10 years. I will not mention his name as per privacy requirements. My GP usually shows respect and I had not previously noticed disrespectful or discriminatory practices from my GP. -1 Star Review This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a medical centre. I had an appointment booked for 10:00 AM and arrived on time, yet I was left waiting for almost two hours without any explanation, update, or apology regarding the delay. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing several patients who arrived after me being called in to see the same doctor before I was attended to. 1hour 8 mins wait just to get my ultra sound results checked and still couldn’t get it done. Horrible. There is no point of appointments if there is hours of wait time.
The doctors and staff are always friendly and professional, so I have no complaints about them. However, I waited 1 hour and 25 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, and this seems to be a recurring issue at this practice. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but waiting this long for a scheduled appointment is unreasonable. It may be worth reviewing appointment scheduling or allowing longer appointment times to help reduce these delays. I hope this can be improved, as it affects the overall patient experie... read more
