I am recovering from a double bye pass. But am suffering severe nerve pain in my chest. It was suggested by the cardiac rehab at Shrewsbury hospital that my go prescribe me Gabapentin to help the pain. This was refused by the go. Stating that they would need a letter from the consultant. So I have been left to suffer. If they need a letter they should get one not me. They have a duty of care. Not just deny me help and leave me to suffer. I have been through enough. I cannot even get to see a doctor. Only a nurse
Moved to Wem just over a year ago & any time I’ve needed the doctors I’ve been seen to on the same day. Whether it be through their triage system or by an actual nurse/doctor, the staff are lovely & polite. Cannot fault this medical practice!
