Around 2:30 am Sunday 6/14/26, I took my wife to Northside ER for serve pain in her hip and left leg. They did an ultrasound that did not show any embolisms. DR diagnosed issue as vascular and referred her to a vascular surgeon. The pain was getting worse. So, we went to Urgent Care at Wellstar's Cherokee Health Park. She saw Dr. Jethwa who did a physical exam and ordered X-rays. Her hip joint was causing the pain. A RX for the pain and made a referral to Orthopedic surgery. The staff were friendly and thorough. They even took my Ambetter insurance. Wish they had a Wellstar in Blue Ridge, GA so we do not have to drive 2 hours.
I wish I could’ve grabbed the front desk name but from the door to the back truly was given the best care overall! The MA Katrina was amazing and so sweet/understanding given my circumstances. As well as Dr Rodriquez was very understanding and was able to help me get on the right track and help answer my questions! I truly appreciate the care given and hard work to help me get answers!
