I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sheila Welles and Wellsprings-K9! My 12-year-old pug was suddenly struggling to walk after a beach trip, and her condition rapidly declined. She was in pain, barely able to move, and lost her joyful spirit. After two vet visits, the only suggestion I received was to start medication and keep her comfortable due to her age, but her health and happiness kept deteriorating. Searching for alternative options, I discovered Sheila and Wellsprings-K9 online—and it turned out to be a life-c... read more

Sheila is so magical with my two dogs (Retriever mix, Micah and Basset hound Herbie) Micah has severe osteoarthritis and thoroughly enjoys his therapy pool time + massage. She has endless patience and empathy for each, and every one of them, she treats them as if they were her own. Her therapy extends outside the pool as she has talked endlessly with me about possible treatments to improve Micah’s daily well-being, from Dr referrals to dietary changes. Sheila is truly a gift, for which I am eternally appreciative, and gratef... read more

Nearly 9 years ago I began taking my Police K-9, Pele, to Wellsprings. She was about 3 years old and managing an on-duty injury. I would also credit Sheila with teaching Pele how to swim, which came in handy numerous times in the real world and the re... read more

Sheila was amazing with my dog Max, who was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. We went to her for swim therapy for about 3.5 years, and I’m very thankful for the extra time this gave me with Max. Sheila was always helpful and gave great advice navigating this difficult condition. So thankful for everything she did for Max and caring for him like he was her own pup.

Our longhaired dachshund has been going to Wellsprings to swim with Sheila for almost 3 years and he absolutely loves it. Sheila's swim therapy provides great exercise and helps keep our little guy strong. Sheila also provides massage to help work out his tight shoulder muscles. Highly recommend Wellsprings!
