I was a client in the adult section of Wellspring but went to the arch Bridge school each morning to finish up my senior year. It is a very poor program, the guy in charge of the adult house has the worst temperament, he doesn't help he creates problems and they do t provide individual therapy even though they say they do. I ended up leaving and going to Fulshear in Texas where I got the help I needed. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially the adult and the school, gave me alot of traumatic experiences.
I attended wellspring for 22 months and it saved my life. I will not lie that it is far from perfect. No program has everything. I was struggling with severe bipolar disorder and wellspring was patient and involved. The staff are careing and actively working with you. The therapist keep a close relationship to have a secure working contract. It is 100% a Paine being there but worth every cent. I am still in contact and close with many staff and admin because relationships last. It's hard in the process but a life changing ch... read more
My daughter lived at Angelus House (+18) at went to school at Arch bridge in the morning. There is also art therapy, REIKI therapy, yoga, weekly bowling, outings to nature centers, Starbucks, flea market, etc. The mental work is tough , they really challenge them. The new psychiatrist tries to wean them off meds and the ... read more
Wellspring is Terrible!.........do not send your kids here. The staff is terrible. The prices that you are paying to go here and one of the counsolors, has a Masters degree in educational counseling , but he is counseling people with drug problems....for 11k a month I would sure hope that you get a better staff than this one. This is just a waste of money for your child. You would better off at another faclity. We spent money and after our child was there we learned more about the incidents that happened there, and our child... read more
Wellspring is a mental health facility that provides serveral services which are: intensive residential treatment for children age 6 - 12, adolescent girls age 13 - 18, and adults, extensive outpatient services for girl and boys, and a co-ed therapeutic state-approved special education school. With the Adolescent Girl Program, I personally think it is an excellent place to send your daughter. Unlike most therapeutic schools or facilities, Wellspring focuses on both your daughters struggle/issues and focuses on the relationsh... read more
