I have had the pleasure of meeting staff and board members - So let me tell you this: They are a robust group of mental health experts and advocates. They are dedicated to serving the city of Springfield, OH and do so with a delicate diligence. If you or someone you know needs support, crisis intervention or wants to become more rounded with their mental health, give them a try! I was on the wait list for 6+ months, and was finally set up with a counselor. She informed me that she would only do virtual visits, not a huge deal though I would prefer in person I was just happy to get in. She was almost always 10-15 minutes late logging in, twice I called reception and complained as I was waiting but was only told someone would let her know I was waiting. She gave really odd advice, and I often felt like she blew off my issues, for example, when I asked about dealing with my pretty severe social anxiety... read more
