I just started seeing William McDermott. And he is the best doctor I have ever dealt with! I did not feel rushed. I felt very relaxed and was able to freely discuss all issues and he was very informative with explaining my diagnosis ! He very quickly handled my issues with the pharmacy in less than 24 hrs. And took my pain seriously and didn’t brush it off. Very very pleased I have found a great doctor for all my future visits .
Terrible Experience — No Compassion or Care I’m extremely disappointed and upset with how this doctor treated my mother. She recently had back surgery and has been in constant pain, barely able to do simple daily tasks. When she went in for help, instead of listening or offering any kind of support, the doctor told her that the help was only for people “in pain” — even though she clearly is in pain and trying her best to recover. Horrible and disrespectful treatment. The doctor who attended me treated me like a liar, implying that I wasn’t in pain. WellSpan has definitely gone downhill. I need them to fill out some paperwork for me, and they’re saying that the service I’m requesting isn’t necessary — as if they lived with me. I will definitely be looking for another healthcare provider because there is a lack of professionalism here. I have never felt so humiliated in my life.
I scheduled a well child check as a working mother of a teenager. We arrived 5 minutes late, running into the empty office…I was apologizing as we had hit all the red lights, construction and big truck en route. No one at the desk (2 ladies helped me)…so I checked in on the computer. As we took a seat they callled me up to the window to let me know that I was late and they had a 5 minute late policy.
